Our firm was established in Ankara in 1960. It started its activities by manufacturing and repairing simple hand tools used in construction sector. In further years, the product range of hand tools which will meet the requirements has been developed in accordance with the demands received from the said sector.

In 1978, our firm decided to manufacture its first electric driven cutting and bending machines for structural iron, and started experimental production despite all negativity of industry. Our cutting and bending machines were initially the mono type and capacity following testing of prototype production, but then production in various types and capacities was started in line with the requirements.

It started to produce more quality and technological products by increasing its production machinery and by taking the steps of institutionalization in 1994. Our firm accepting quality as principle has become a leader in domestic market through its production realized based on this principle. Since 1998, Göçmaksan with its quality assurance has commenced its export activities created with the idea of marketing its products abroad. Our firm gives convenient responses by manufacturing the machinery in different specification to the demands received from the countries where machinery export is realized. At the beginning of 1998, it started replacing its universal processing machinery used in production by the CNC machinery in order to increase its quality and capacity of product in view of its customer’s portfolio increasing continuously.

Increase of the sales abroad has entailed to conduct number of compulsory studies on the quality system. Thus, our firm starting to apply the quality system from the beginning of 2000, initiated it production with the CE certification in comply with the Machinery Directive: 98/37/EEC Machinery Safety as a result of two-year study through the consultancy services purchased from the BVQI.

Our firm who has increased its export to Russia and the countries around has obtained the GOST-R Certificate which is necessary for machinery sales to these countries.

Göçmaksan has started to manufacture the first machinery with TSEK (Institute of Turkish Standards) Certificate in the sector following its application to the said body for its Cutting and Bending Machines for Structural Iron. Since the studies realized has prepared the ground for the Quality System ISO 9001:2008 it obtained the said Quality Certificate at the beginning of 2004. Our firm has also realized the registration processes for its title and logo together with the above works.

Our firm aiming to become number one within the sector has been increasing the variety of machinery it produces by making new designs continuously in line with the customer requirements on various bending apparatuses used in bending processes of structural iron. As a result of procedure of registration it has initiated it has obtained all approved patents of machinery it produces from the Turkish Patent Institute. Eventually, our firm starting its production with cutting and bending machines has increased the capacity of cutting and bending from Ø26 mm to Ø60 mm.

Today, it continues its manufacturing activities on the area of 8.500 square meters with more than 25 processing machines where it started in a small workshop with the area of 30 square meters in 1960. Sales have also been continuing with 80% of market share, of 35% in, and 65% out of the country.
